Meet the Dead Inside Pendant

Mondays, ugh. Dead Inside is a sterling silver skull and crossbones for people who find memento mori a little on the nose, but still appreciate the sentiment. Think of it as wearing your apathy with pride.

Dead Inside pendant: a coffin-shaped sterling silver pendant with a skull, crossbones and a 'Dead Inside' banner

The details

The design is a little coffin, with a grinning skull, a pair of crossbones and a banner across the top that says exactly how you feel. It’s made from solid sterling silver and finished two ways: the raised parts are polished bright, and the recessed background is oxidized dark so the skull really pops.

Like everything we make, it’s bold rather than dainty — about 17 × 29 mm, so it has some presence without being a chest plate.

Big enough to notice, small enough to wear every day.

Wearing it

You can get it as a pendant on its own or on a polished 1.2 mm box chain, in lengths from 16" up to 36". It’s handmade, so each one turns out a touch different from the photos — yours will be one of a kind.

Ready to give, or to keep for yourself. We won’t tell.

To keep it looking sharp, give it a gentle rub with the polishing cloth that comes with it, then buff it with a soft, clean cloth. Keep it away from lotions, perfumes, chemicals and water.

We’ll share the story of how this one gets made in a future post.
